Cortado, flat white, what's the difference?

A short, opinionated guide to the small milky drinks, settled once and for all.

From the Syndicate journal

A cortado is espresso cut with a small amount of warm milk — roughly equal parts, served small. A flat white is bigger, with more steamed milk and a thin layer of microfoam. Both are about letting the espresso lead. Order by how much milk you’re in the mood for.
